Genuine tempo expected with the speedy Timeonlees leading the way. TIMEONLEES (11) showed good speed to lead them up on home track when returning from a break. Strips fitter this time and should again be in this for a long way. XAPHAN (12) came off a break with a sound first-up run at Echuca. Strips fitter for the run and is expected to be around the money. PEERLESS LAD (5) is back after a break of 13 months. Tackled good 2YO company on debut and wasn't beaten all that far at only other run. Worth keeping in mind. TARSHIN (9) didn't do a lot in two heavy track runs last campaign. Better placed here and improvement on the cards. SUGGESTED PLAY: Back Timeonlees and Xaphan to win.
