Suzy's Rose looks the most likely to push forward and take up the lead. Love Battles and Suzy Rose will press forward but the race lacks genuine pressure. Nothing went right for THE MECHANIC last start but he still rallied late to score over this trip at Ipswich at his second run back from a spell. Won third up last prep so capable of further improvement. PINCH MOUNTAIN has been kept fresh since closing too well to salute over this distance at Ipswich 26 days ago. Races best at this journey so cannot be underestimated. FELINO BEL is another who races best over this trip and will appreciate a drop in grade this afternoon. STAR JUSTICE and SUZY'S ROSE are both racing well and cannot be left out in a testing little race for punters. SUGGESTED PLAY: The Mechanic for the win.
