Craiglea Velvet has led in recent times and looks the most likely to take it up again today. From opposite sides of the draw Crafty Blonde and Our Atom will be stamped urgent, showing out from Craiglea Velvet. ROSE CLIP returned from an 18-week spell last start with a narrow win over 1000m at Innisfail. Recorded some nice results last prep including an impressive win at this circuit. Has a 2/4 record at today's distance so stick with this genuine filly. CRAIGLEA VELVET capitalised on the inside draw to lead all the way and win with ease last start over 1000m at Townsville. Very effective over these short courses and from a nice gate again today is sure to be in the money. LONGING FOR will be better for the run but has to be respected on the limit weight. OUR ATOM is in fine form this prep and from the inside alley has to be included. SUGGESTED PLAY: Rose Clip for the win.
