Expecting Macspark to take up the lead at a genuine tempo. MACSPARK (4) showed plenty of early dash on debut at Clare but couldn't hold on late and was captured close to the line. Is sure to have come on with that run under his belt and is expected to take some stopping. TALKIN' ITALIAN (2) failed to live up to market expectation first up at Oakbank but was far from disgraced in fourth. Is a likely improver second-up and his best form puts him right in this. Crowther sticking is another positive. KALBARRI (3) returns. Showed some positive signs in his first two starts when finding the line nicely without threatening the winner. Strips fitter for a trial placing in readiness. Forward showing anticipated. ALEXEIN (6) also returns and looks best of the rest down in the weights. Respect any market support. SUGGESTED PLAY: Macspark to win.
