Not a great deal of early pace evident so it may be left to one or more of the healthy contingent of first starters to set the tempo. REBELLIOUS HOPE (7) has had a few chances but is racing well enough to take this out, coming off a last-start placing at Pakenham over 1400m in a handy maiden. She maps ideally here and will take plenty of catching. CASCADE MOUNTAIN (3) is a gelding by Justify on debut for the Hayes yard. Trials have been just fair but he should be greatly respected for the top barn. SUNNY DISPOSITION (9) is a Justify filly on debut for the Ciaron Maher yard. John Allen booked to ride, keep safe. ICEBERRY (4) resumes. She got over more ground in her maiden campaign but showed some promise and can figure. PUISSANCE DE VOL (2) perhaps next best. SUGGESTED PLAY: Rebellious Hope on top.
