Bold Tropic to set the early tempo. VANDERLAND (2) has found some good form again since making the move to the local Will Savage stable from Victoria earlier in the year. He slides down another grade and the 2-kilo claim helps lighten his load. He has a good gate and is capable of taking this out. BARANI (8) was a late scratching at the barrier earlier in the month and has since trialled to the satisfaction of everyone concerned. He is ready to show some form, despite a wide gate. QUANAPIRRI BAY (7) did not have all the luck last time out and it is a run that is best ignored. His fresh-up run for second had merit and he can make amends in this. SUGGESTED PLAY: Vanderland to win.
