Plenty of first starters engaged which makes for a tricky map. It is reasonable to assume a slick tempo over this sprint course. STARTON (7) is knocking on the door, third in a good maiden here two starts ago before just finding one better at this track again last time. Back to 1200m here looks fine, he'll land on speed and give a bold sight. ZOOMED (11) wasn't beaten far at Bendigo last start over 1300m. Jye McNeil takes the ride from a good draw and she can get into the finish. DO YOU DEAL (10) is a 6yo mare on debut, by Dundeel. Watch the market. TOBI SARU (5) resumes. He wasn't bad on debut last time in and could have improved. SUGGESTED PLAY: Starton on top.
