Hiromitsu Horiba who has two wins when partnering stays on and should be hard to beat again. KYOEI LONA (5) raced on the speed from the outset last start and finished second over 1700m here. Likely improver with winning claims. MIO SOPHIA (8) missed the frame last start over 1700m at this track when fourth. Well placed and is a definite threat in this line-up. ALKWN (2) was out of the money when resuming from a spell last start over 1400m at this track. Usually races well second-up so can improve here.
