Aranjuez Leo has good early speed and can set a decent tempo. ARANJUEZ LEO (3) went forward last start over 1600m at Funabashi and held on well for third, beaten 1.3 lengths. Will take advantage of the good draw. In a suitable race and can play a major role. TOSEN SAMANTHA (4) has missed the frame at her last couple of outings, the latest when 14th over 1200m at Kokura. Much better placed this time. AVEBURY (6) ran above expectations and got up for third when unwanted in betting at her latest appearance at this track over 1400m. Good signs last time and is capable of another bold performance. IDEA NO KISEKI (11) turned in a nice effort to score two runs ago but was not as effective last time out when 11th over 1500m at this track, beaten 15 lengths. Likely improver with top-three prospects.
