Reasonable tempo with Smile Kei probably leading but a few others should keep her honest. UNA TO LION (7) returns from a break of five-and-a-half months. Was going well at the back end of last prep with placings at his last two starts, the latest at this course and distance. Backmarker who keeps coming and best form puts him right in this. KURO GO (4) improved last start but found a couple better over 1500m at Nagoya. Looks well placed so expect another big run. PURE JASMINE (11) resumes from a spell of nine months. Could only manage to finish eighth at the latest run over 1200m at this track. Leading player on best figures and a bold showing expected fresh. SMILE KEI (5) wasn't far off maiden success before a five-and-a-half months break, finishing the prep with a minor placing at this track. Expect she has come on over the break. Has ability and don't underestimate.
