CORTE DEFEAT (3) was well fancied last start over 1400m at Kawasaki when second, beaten 3 lengths. Nice alley and can make amends. KYOEI ORION (5) closed off strongly last start to get up for second, beaten 1.5 lengths, over 1400m at this track. Among the better chances. HIMESAYURI (10) missed the placings two runs back then didn't do any better last start when 15 lengths away in tenth over 1400m at Kawasaki. Better than recent efforts suggest.
