BOLD RANSOM (2) is having his first run since November when he scored over 800m at Ipswich. Has a strong record when fresh with two wins and a placing from four runs. Expect him to pose a serious challenge. SZABO (3) found his rivals a bit strong last time at Eagle Farm but is better placed off a win two back at Warwick. SMILING ZAC (4) improved second-up when edged out by a head last start over 870m at Toowoomba. Can progress further. SUGGESTED PLAY: Mr Encore to back up the last-start win.
