Born To Be Alive has good early speed and can set a decent tempo. ATLANTIC ROYAL (3) has not won for some time but is heading in the right direction this year. He has won twice on this track in the past, which is an advantage, and if he strikes his favoured wet track, then he can break his win drought here. SOCK'EMSID (1) has been mixing his form but does have a good record on this circuit. He is nicely placed after a 2kg claim and can figure in the top 3. SHAPE OF WATER (2) enjoyed racing on his home track second up at Beaudesert nearly 4 weeks ago, scoring by over a length. He has a wide gate but is still worth including in all combinations. BORN TO BE ALIVE (14) has been thereabouts lately and may have found the right race to figure in the top 3 this time. WHISTLIN' RULER (16) ran a better race last start and is worth including in all multiples in a modest field. SUGGESTED PLAY: Shape Of Water each way.
