Strong pace from Filthy Habits and Iowa matching motors with Playhouse Patron close at hand. A key lead-up to the Perth Cup. FOREVER BOY (4) won well two back before being (arguably) the run of the race in the Towton Cup where he was backed into favourite. Can sit much closer this time around for CJP and showed he's capable in this grade. Building nicely and can stamp his Cup credentials. FUNCHAL (11) was rather poor behind Forever Boy 18 days ago but suspect this was a target event for her. She gets in down in the weights with the blinkers going on first time. May need some luck from the gate, but she has the class to feature. DEMOLISH (2) went 1500 to 2200m last start and stuck on well, though he'll no doubt be better for that run. Maps to get the run of the race in this and will take beating. STORMAGEDDON (8) flew home in the Towton Cup to just miss the placings and has to be included on the back of that effort. FILTHY HABITS (3) can lead and dictate from the front and be tough to run down. SUGGESTED PLAY: Forever Boy gets the nod in the A.T.A. Stakes.
