Cracking tempo with Tydeus and Chef De Mission leading the way. ELDERBERRY (2) returned with a bang here 12 days ago when making light work of her rivals over 1000m. Goes up in weight but strips fitter and should relish the added trip. Can make it two on the bounce. TYDEUS (1) couldn’t go with Elderberry here last time but stuck on gamely into second. Gets a handy pull at the weights now and is a five-time winner over this trip. Capable of turning the tables. JONQUEST (5) resumes after 581 days away. Likely to need the run but he does have fresh form and his recent trial was encouraging. Don’t underestimate. JINSOKU (4) was good first-up at Lock but poor in his two prior runs. Gets significant weight relief and a favourable draw, so is worth another chance. SUGGESTED PLAY: Elderberry to win again.
