A strong tempo is anticipated. BUSSTOPINHOUNSLOW (1) stayed on nicely at the finish when third over 1400m on the Standside course last time. He has won once and finished second once from three starts on this course. He will strip a much fitter horse. He is unbeaten under Piere Strydom and will be looking to keep that record intact. GUY GIBSON (2) has been running on at the finish in his last three starts. He steps back up to 1450m and is one of the leading contenders. BUSTER BARNES (3) is having his first run in South Africa. He returns from a spell after plenty of success in Zimbabwe. The betting market will be the best guide with regards to his chances. BOB'S YOUR UNCLE (5) turned in a nice effort to score two runs back at this track. Less impressive last time out when seventh over 1160m at Turffontein Standside. Best figures measure up well and he looks well placed to return to form.
