BARBARY TALES (4) is back today after a layoff of seven months. Closed the last prep in great style with a win by 8 metres over 1609m at Hobart. Sure to be ready to run well. SABINE (5) is flying at present with two successive wins to her name, most recently at this track four weeks ago. Big chance to keep the ball rolling. SMILING MIA (1) was thereabouts last time out at the second run back from a spell over 2090m at Hobart. Open to plenty of improvement, especially with the aid of the inside gate.
