Chieftain, Master Casper and Address The Nation to match motors but there will be other pressure. MASTER CASPER (3) finished second of 11 last start when resuming from a spell. He will strip a much fitter horse and Gavin Lerena steps back into the saddle. He is likely to race on the speed and may be hard to peg back. PASSAGE OF POWER (4) ran on well when second over 1160m at Turffontein last time. He finished third in his only attempt over this distance. Calvin Habib retains the ride and he is one of the leading contenders. CHIEFTAIN (1) returns from a spell which may have done him the world of good. He has won twice and finished second twice from five starts over this distance. Has each-way claims. WARM WINTER NITE (6) scored two back at Turffontein Standside but was below his best last time when sixth over 1160m at Turffontein Standside. Suitably placed to return to form.
