Reasonable tempo with a few going forward, headed by Tuff Tu Mus. Vandyke-trained TUFF TU MUS (7) resumed and made it four victories on the trot, winning a CL3 at Eagle Farm. He's won a Deagon trial since, and Maloney rides for the first time, in a key jockey switch. Goes wet and dry and is ready to take the next step. HEMAN (13) impressed winning a CL1 here and resumed at the track when narrowly beaten in a CL5. Stays down in the weights, and Craig Williams stays aboard. Has the inside gate and stripping fitter rates to go close. OCTOBER (5) is a former HK galloper who resumed for the new barn with a nose defeat in an Eagle Farm CL4. He is improved and has been kept up to the mark with a trial here. Has Lang's small claim and is in the mix. SAILOR'S SECRET (9) brings a narrow defeat from Ipswich in Open grade. Raced favourite and ran a decent number. Not badly placed and keep onside. SUGGESTED PLAY: Staying with Tuff Tu Mus.
