Special Plan has good early speed and can set a decent tempo. BOLTA (1) lifted his figures two back and again, comfortably winning this grade over 1200m. Jumps from the inside gate and the longer sprint will hold no fears. TARENTELIA (7) is a last start Maiden winner but went well enough to say she's a hope. Fully fit, and the 2kg claim brings her into it. THE SLAP (4) has threatened both starts this preparation with the latest behind Bolta. The numbers stack up okay, but the outside barrier dampens expectations to a degree. MOONIEMIA (10) may need the run, but he has pieces of form that keep him under notice. SUGGESTED PLAY: Sticking with Bolta.
