Solid tempo with High Ferocity leading from Battlespace and Missile Meg. Big field but happy to stick with the improving UNDERSTUDY (3). Was fair fresh then appreciated every bit of the 1500m last time with a barnstorming maiden win. Fitter again and has upside. The extra ground is a plus and could well go on with it. MORE TORQUE (6) resumed over 1543m at Geelong where he showed little early speed but got home nicely to finish fourth, beaten 2.5 lengths. Will drift back but fitter again will be hard to hold out. MISSILE MEG (8) has finished fourth last couple but not beaten far. Comes back a notch for this and no surprise to see a return to winning form. GULFSTATE (5) dropped back in journey last time and was safely held. Better than that but suited back out in journey and can do much better this time. SUGGESTED PLAY: Following in on Understudy.
