Abundant early pace from the speedy trio of Pilot Flame, Nautical Landing and Walkie Talkie. PILOT FLAME (1) is lightly raced with good form lines to her credit. She should have finished closer to the winner last time as she hung outwards from the 300m mark. She is a progressive type and if suited to the polytrack, she can go one place better. MOTHER INDIA (8) showed speed when finishing third of 11 on debut over 1200m at Scottsville last start. She would have gained from the experience and if seeing out the extra distance on offer should prove hard to beat. NAUTICAL LANDING (2) showed good improvement on her debut run when finishing second in her last start over 1600m on this course. She set the pace, fought hard but found one too good on the day. The drop to 1400m should suit her well and she rates well as one of the leading chances. DEE DAY (5) set the pace over this course and distance last time but found one too good on the day. She jumps from a handy draw and should be fighting out the finish.
