Slick tempo with This'll Show Ya to lead but under plenty of pressure in a keen early contest. THIS'LL SHOW YA (5) ended last campaign with a strong win at Ascot in a CL3 when proving too strong up on the speed. She has trialled in good order coming into this and she'll be fitter for that effort. She tends to fire first-up and she can pick up where she left off last preparation. HAIDA GWAII (10) is hard to knock on recent form, missing by 1.5L down the Pinjarra Straight most recently as an odds-on pop. She'll be on the speed from barrier two and the Parnham/Lane combo is lethal, striking at 25% overall. Hard to knock on recent form and she appears the main danger. GOLD VANCOUVER (9) dipped in his form at the end of last campaign a Ascot but has trialled in good order behind a smart one coming into this. She's placed 2/3 first-up in the past and she can play a major role. FRANTIC WAR (7) was very good first-up at big odds and can be thereabouts. MILITARY POWER (3) is in the mix if he can pick up where he left off last campaign. SUGGESTED PLAY: This'll Show Ya can resume on a winning note.
