Primal Spirit to take charge ahead of Flying Mean at a good tempo. Competitive. ATTAIN (1) quickly returned to the winner's circle, delivering a Cranbourne 70 and spiking his figures. Comes back in grade with a handy 3kg claim. He will position forward from the inside barrier and get every chance. PRIMAL SPIRIT (2) led and just missed the hat-trick at Pakenham at this level. The shorter sprint will suit, and he can control the race from the soft draw. Lane replaces the 2kg apprentice, and that's a decent push for his chances. FLYING MEAN (7) is an improver presenting off an impressive Maiden win at Pakenham, heavily bet. He's won a Cranbourne jumpout since, and Ben Melham continues his association. Has to be considered. FIGLIO D'ARGENTO (4) is lightly raced and heading in the right direction. He's been racing in better company, and Williams sticks aboard. CATAHOULA (6) resumes with Shinn booked, and she's been sharp at the jumpouts. The late betting will be key. SUGGESTED PLAY: Leaning to Attain.
