Plenty of pace from Rideau, Singular and Torovista vying for the lead, with a few others keeping them honest. RIDEAU (4) races forward and has gone close at his last two. Managed the soft track at the latest and is overdue. MA'S EPIC (3) was an easy winner at Warwick and didn't have much luck at Eagle Farm following, beaten 3L. She will use the inside barrier and the 3kg claim brings her right into it. UNDER THE PALAIS (8) is hard fit and has been racing in stronger. The winkers go on again, and she gets her chance here. SINGULAR (7) is a poly track specialist but presents third-up and maps for the run of the race. Rates well and keep onside. SUGGESTED PLAY: Rideau on top.
