Golden Straand has the pace to lead in what is likely to be a moderate tempo. GOLDEN STRAAND (1) nice colt who was heavily supported on debut when attacking the line late for a game second over 1100m at Wyong. Would have taken great benefit from that run and looks the one to beat. KOWLOON VICTOR (2) beaten for early speed on debut when a fast-finishing fourth over 1000m at Kembla Grange on the heavy (8) track. Further improved for this and will appreciate the extra ground. ANYONE (6) well bred filly returning from a lengthy break. Chipped away late on debut when fifth over 1000m at Cranbourne last October. Given the two trials and has a host of gear changes for this. CAVARETTA (7) Trapeze Artist filly from Another Coup on debut for the Waller stable. Has shown improvement in her last two trials and maps to get the right run. Keep safe. SUGGESTED PLAY: Golden Straand to get off the mark.
