BALLARAT SYNTHETIC   11 Jun 2025

GOING: N

Vale Brendan Drechsler Class 1 Handicap 1200m

Track: AW     Rail: True Entire Circuit.

Expecting Kahungunu to lead Typhoon Tony at just a moderate tempo. SPIRITED DEFENCE (1) relished the synthetic here first up with a powerful win, settling back in the field and charging home to go on and score by over five lengths. Have to take him on face value with that win and anything like it again can see him make it a double. WHODARESWINS (5) notched up his maiden win at Pakenham Synthetic last start and may now be able to go on with it on a similar type of ground. TYPHOON TONY (4) was just fair fresh at Cranbourne but will strip fitter for that and did take on some better types last time in. Can improve. SHAALUTE (6) finds a suitable race now and is an each way hope. SUGGESTED PLAY: Spirited Defence to win.
