Expecting Colonel to take up the running with Island Buddy close at hand. ISLAND BUDDY (8) hasn't been far away his past couple, going under as favourite most recently by 0.8L. The wide draw is a niggle, however he has been able to offset that in recent efforts and his recent figures stack up highly in this suitable race. Can shed the maiden tag this time around. SMART FIGHTER (2) just missed at this track and trip last start and gets the visors on for the first time today. He comes in off the same set up to last start and he's expected to be close to the speed from a good draw. Wouldn't surprise to see him go a couple better this time. KNOW AT HEART (1) flew home to miss out by 1.5L at this track and trip 28 days ago and gets Karis Teetan in the irons now. He's up in weight, but he's racing in good order since he's come to this track and trip and he's not to be discounted. GAMEPLAYER ELITE (3) gets Bowman back in the saddle now and he can feature from gate one.
