GOING: S(6)

BROADSIDING @ DARLEY HANDICAP 1000m

Track: Soft 6   Clear (Max: 17)   Rail: True. (Pent: 5.58)

Helluva Teen and O'invincible can be prominent. LIVIN' THING (1) progressive gelding who looks well placed third up with McMurray's 3kg claim. Struck trouble early and covered ground in the run when a plugging fourth over 1100m at Warwick Farm. Expected to go close from the low draw. COLUMBIA BLUE (3) went one better at his second career start when leading throughout for a slick victory over 1000m at Hawkesbury on the heavy (10) track. Can keep the winning momentum going in this stronger contest. PRIMA BELLA (7) made it two wins from four career starts on resumption when ploughing through the heavy (10) going to score over 900m at Newcastle. Gets in light again with Prag's 3kg claim and deserves her chance in town. Value prospect. VANESSI (2) resumes after returning good figures late in a much stronger contest when fifth over 1100m at the Sunshine Coast last January. Primed for this with two encouraging trials and must be kept safe from the inside gate. SUGGESTED PLAY: Livin' Thing in a strongly contested contest.
