Plenty of first starters engaged which makes it tricky to map, but we can assume a solid tempo. ARTIE'S ECLIPSE (6) was very good on debut down the Pinjarra Straight and looked the winner for a long way at massive odds. She was gunned down late there but posted a strong figure up against her rivals in this event. Maps to be right on the speed again and a repeat effort will see her hard to beat. BLUE MOZART (3) showed enough in his only trial coming in and the booking of Pike suggests he's ready to fire on debut. Both half-siblings are winners over the sprint trip and he's expected to play a major role in the finish. BUSTER BIFF (4) is another debutant, this time for the David Harrison barn. His latest trial was solid at Lark Hill over 400m and he's a half-brother to the Perth Cup winner Buster Bash. Needs a touch of luck but can make his presence felt in this suitable assignment. THANK GOD (2) was very good back to the inside at Pinjarra last start and can put his best foot forward. WRITTEN WORDS (5) has ticked a few boxes at the trials and won't be far away on debut. SUGGESTED PLAY: Artie's Eclipse can go one better this time.
