BANG FOR BUCK (3) was a beaten favourite in his first start on this track a week ago, finishing third. He has remained with the local Peter Fernie stable and has the blinkers off for the first time. Hard to beat, so follow your money. AWEEMAWAY (2) has turned a corner since returning to racing on his home track here. He closed off his run strongly when finishing second here over 1300m last week, and can go one better this time, especially with an extra 100m to travel.
