From the wide draw Dojigiri can cross and set up a solid tempo. DOJIGIRI (13) has been in the money three times from as many appearances this prep, including last start on March 22 when second over 1800m at this track. Has a sound record here with two top-three finishes from two starts. Nicely placed and expected to go very well. T O STEIN (12) is still a maiden after nine starts. Managed to find the placings at Hanshin two starts back before finishing fourth over 1600m at Chukyo last time. Likely to be about the money. ACADEMIA (10) is a three-year-old colt on debut from the stable of Haruki Sugiyama. By Kizuna from Roxelana. Expect a bold run. SANTO MONARCA (6) resumes from a spell of four months. Could only manage to finish seventh at the latest run over 1800m at Kyoto Dirt. Rates highly on best form and should be in the mix.
