BLUE TICE (2) finished 4 lengths from the winner in fourth last start over 1400m at this track, an improvement on his seventh at this track the run before. Must raise the bar but a win is not out of the question. WIN HONOKA (10) was beaten for early speed and didn't come into contention when a disappointing sixth over 1400m at this track most recently. Perfectly placed and is sure to play a pivotal role. TOHO GEMMA (6) finds it hard to win with three victories from 48 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when ninth over 1400m at this track, beaten 38 lengths. Best figures could see them improve. MY COURAGE (3) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1400m at this track, beaten 15 lengths into eighth. Well placed and can figure in the finish this time.
