A strong tempo is anticipated. MEISHO TAISETSU (9) went forward and proved too strong last time out, scoring by one length over 1400m at this track. This looks a sterner test than last time but on his best form he is capable of a big performance. SAINT EX (6) was well fancied when resuming last start over 1600m at Kochi when fourth, beaten 2.5 lengths. Worth another chance. DHANYAVAAD (7) was quickly into stride over 1500m at this track last time and went on to score by 1.5 lengths. This looks a sterner test than last time but on his best form he is right in contention. SAMMARU LEGEND (1) has been in good form, scoring three back at this track then placing twice in a row, most recently when second over 1900m at Kasamatsu. Finds a suitable race and can fill another top-three spot.
