Without an obvious leader, it may be left to Super Feather, Kayado Black and Sound Nova to control the tempo. KAYADO BLACK (7) is back from a spell of six months having scored a good win at her final run last preparation at this track over 1600m. Excellent record here having never missed the placings in 12 starts, including nine wins and three placings. Major player. SOUND NOVA (4) is racing well and is close to a win, the latest effort a solid third at this track over 1400m after he gave away a big start on the bend. Stepping up a level this time but on his best form he is good enough to take this out. SUPER FEATHER (3) made progress last start when he did his best work late to finish third over 1400m at this course. Well placed and in the mix. SANDS OF TIME (2) last appeared five-and-a-half weeks ago over 1400m at Ohi when he finished 16th. This is his first run for the Hideo Moriyama stable. Expect him to be primed for this.
