A solid tempo is anticipated with Collbrande and Kitto Sakura Saku kicking up to hold out the next wave. KITTO SAKURA SAKU (12) is racing well this time in work, including a last start win over 1600m at this track to bring up two wins from three runs in the campaign. Should be poised just off the lead. Expected to be in the finish. VIV AIR (13) has put together a couple of wins at this circuit, the latest on March 6 over 1600m when he got home by 3 lengths. It doesn't get any easier but on current form he is capable of testing his rivals. COLLBRANDE (4) turned in a nice effort to score two runs ago at Urawa. Couldn't follow that up last time out when eighth over 1400m at Urawa, beaten 6 lengths. Tackling a more suitable race so he is a leading contender. KATHARSIS (1) improved sharply last time out to score by a neck over 1500m at this track five-and-a-half weeks ago. Solid top-three prospects.
