Many of these step out for the first time so a genuine tempo is expected. FANCI FLEUR (8) resumes after contesting better maidens than this. Things didn't go to plan at the Gold Coast. Showed enough speed in those efforts to be up near the pace all of the way and think that will be the case in this. Can kick on and win it from the front end. NANCY'S FOLLY (7) has to be a big watch in the betting given she has had the positive trial. They have put the blinkers straight on as well. MHASAHN (6) has plenty of experience for this race. He takes on the older horses in it but that can happen this close to the end of the season. ATHOL MAC (1) will find this easier than the Ipswich race. SUGGESTED PLAY: Tough race. Left with Fanci Fleur.
