Speed should be right on over the 1150m journey. COLD BREW (1) showed potential last time in and looks to have strengthened up over the break. Fitted with the two searching trials and can hold a forward position from the low draw with J Mac aboard. Goes close. ALBANY ROAD (8) two-year-old colt taking on the older horses at his first run back. Showed a ton of early pace on debut before fading to run eighth over 1000m at Randwick last December. Pulled up with heat stress on that occasion and the two recent trial wins have looked sharp. STARDEEL (2) back for his third prep and expected to shed his maiden status this time in. Bumped into some promising types last campaign and looks primed for this with the two good trials. Must be kept safe. HARRY'S EVIDENCE (4) has race fitness on his side after making a solid debut when an on pace second over 1000m at Hawkesbury. McEvoy retains the ride and the lugging bit and winkers go on. Leading prospect. SUGGESTED PLAY: Cold Brew in a tight contest.
