STARDUST CIRCUS @ PENRITH SHOWGROUND FROM MAY 1 PACE 2125m
TIME TO DANCE (1) has been competitive of late and kept the ball rolling last time when fourth in a higher-graded race at Goulburn. Likely to get all the favours from the inside draw. UPSTREAM (4) turned in a much better effort last start when he came from the back row to go under narrowly when third at this venue. First try at this longer distance but suited returning to the front line. HELENS BOY (2) is heading the right way, improving last time out to finish second at this venue. Genuine threat aided by a good draw. MAC THUNDER (3) can be competitive from a favourable draw. SUGGESTED PLAY: |

GEMTOPIA @ PENRITH PACEWAY MAY 2 & 3 PACE 1720m
HAPPY TOO YA (1) has been racing at Menangle of late and producing some decent efforts including a win last month when he led throughout so has has the gate speed to take advantage of the inside draw here. Strong claims. LOOKIN GOOD MARGIE (9) has been very competitive since winning at this circuit and distance last month, last week beaten only 2 metres in a higher-graded race. May just need a bit of luck from the back row but this suits. HESAA LISTER (3) disappointed as favourite last time but was racing well prior so may be worth another chance. DAVOLAS LEGACY (8) is worth plenty of thought having come from this row for a last-start win at this circuit and distance. SUGGESTED PLAY: |

BINGO @ CLUB PACEWAY EVERY WEDNESDAY PACE 1720m
KEAYANG SANTIAGO (1) was a beaten favourite last week but he is much better than that. Led from a wider barrier when winning last month at Wagga so has the speed to take advantage of the ace draw. Worth another chance. ONE FOR THE RODI (6) will find this easier than his last attempt at Menangle. Won in a similar grade to this at the previous appearance at Newcastle so is better placed. CAPTAIN BART (5) has been solid when midfield in all three starts this time in, the latest at Menangle. Race fit now and owns good records both here and at the distance. MON SOLEIL (8) hasn't raced for a year since ending last campaign with back-to-back Tasmanian wins. Runner-up in a recent trial so keep safe for the new yard. SUGGESTED PLAY: |

MARKETS @ PENRITH SHOWGROUND EVERY THURSDAY PACE 1720m
ELEGANT STRIDE (6) was far from disgraced when midfield in a NSW Oaks heat last start at Menangle. Won twice in a row at this circuit earlier this month so looks nicely placed. GIVE ME A MINUTE (3) has been competitive of late and kept the ball rolling last time when he came from the back row for second at this circuit and distance. Nearing a win and looks well served by this draw. NOTHINGBUTWAVES (2) is another aided by a low draw draw and her form reads well, recording a win and a placing in her last two outings here. WINGMAN LOU (9) may need some luck from the back row but was good in finishing runner-up here last time out. SUGGESTED PLAY: |

MOTHERS DAY HIGH TEA @ CLUB PACEWAY BOOK NOW PACE 2125m
NAMAKA (7) looks close to a win after placing in her last three outings over the Menangle mile, beaten 2.5m in her latest outing last Saturday. Draws for a trail and if she gets the gaps she could break through. RED SAPPHIRE (8) was drawn a little wide when seventh at Menangle last start. Recorded a series of top-four finishes prior including a win here. Her strike rate is impressive. Big chance. MAURLEN BOY (3) made an encouraging return as runner-up at Newcastle two weeks ago, beaten 1.8m. Draws well so can progress. PROMISING (9) draws on the back row but owns a good record here so should enjoy the drop from city racing. SUGGESTED PLAY: |

HOGS BREATH PENRITH LADYSHIP PACE 1720m
HAV FUN WITH THAT (1) took advantage of this draw and kept finding to salute when resuming at this circuit and distance last week, getting home by 2 metres. That was just his second race start so he is open to improvement in both fitness and experience. Can take this next step. SEASIDE DRIVE (2) resumes after six months having produced some good efforts last time in including a Newcastle win two back. Draws well and should be ready to go after two solid city trials. CAPTAINS DELIGHT (5) draws wider but added to her consistent form when she missed narrowly last week and was a winner at this circuit and distance three back. ELLY LOU (8) resumes having won twice last time in, one here and the other at Menangle. Placed in a recent trial so keep safe. SUGGESTED PLAY: |

MAJOR OAK THEATRE RESTAURANT MAY 16 BOOK NOW 2YO PACE 1720m
PASSION AND PAIN (7) worked forward from a wide barrier to lead before finishing second last time out. Had won two of his previous four outings, both of them at Newcastle. Should enjoy a nice trail from the inside of the second line and if he gets the gaps he could be hard to stop. MAIN BEACH (1) is a son of Downbytheseaside on debut for the Anton Golino yard. Has shown some ability at the trials, placing in his latest hitout at Menangle and is well served by the ace draw. BE HAPPY LARRY (4) is a likely improver after debuting with a solid second behind a promising rival last week at this circuit and distance. SOCIAL VELOCITY (5) lines up for the first time. By Tiger Tara and hails from the Michael Teuma stable. Placed in a recent trial here so keep safe. SUGGESTED PLAY: |

FREEDOM TAXATION PACE 2125m
ROCKET RALPH (8) has not raced for 11 months but hinted at ability at the maiden campaign, last seen when placed at this circuit and distance. Tricky draw but looks forward enough for the return after two trials, placing in his latest. SMALL INCOME (2) is a four-year-old mare by Downbytheseaside on debut for David Brown. Placed in her last two trials here and a nice draw on the front line should ensure a cosy run. BETWEEN DECKS (3) draws well and will be fitter so deserves consideration after his last-start fourth when resuming from a wider barrier at Goulburn. TOLLSA KING (6) was fifth here last week but returns to the front line and placed in his other four visits to this venue. SUGGESTED PLAY: |
