COOKE & FOLEY PTY LTD PACE 1710m
ALLGOOD VINNIE (7) is racing very well with seconds at all three starts since coming from the back row to win at Kilmore. Draws wider than when beaten 3.4 metres at Melton last time but races well at this distance. This is winnable with even luck. ARE WEASLEY (8) was in the money at Cranbourne two runs ago before finishing second again at his latest appearance at Charlton, beaten 3.4 metres. Gets a soft run on the inside of the second line and if he gets the gaps he can play a big role. TOPHUT JOHNY (9) was a Kilmore winner last month and was good again when third at Cranbourne last time out. Draws on the back row but owns a good record at this circuit and distance. HOME AND DRY (5) is in the mix if he can recapture the form from two starts back that saw him score at Bendigo. SUGGESTED PLAY: |

BC ELECTRICAL 4YO & OLDER MAIDEN PACE 1710m
LOWER WEST SIDE (1) showed good improvement second-up when she led from a much wider barrier for second at Shepparton. Has the speed to take advantage of the inside draw and should be close to her peak. FIVE CENT (10) was midfield from this row here last start after a good effort to race wide but stick on for second two back at Maryborough. Expect him to be prominent. BETTING ATTACK (9) is lightly raced and will be better for his first-up effort last week so look for improvement. WHENIMREADY (11) could be close to a win after placing in both starts since a spell, the latest from a similar draw to this. SUGGESTED PLAY: |

BALLARAT SOUND PACE 2200m
JANIEBQUICK (9) continued her good form when she chased along the sprint lane for third last start at Maryborough. Good effort to score at Kilmore the outing before. With even luck from the inside of the second row she can give this a mighty shake. BREATHE EASY (10) continued his good run of recent efforts last time out when runner-up at this venue, coming from this row to be beaten 3.4 metres. Could be a major force again. SENNA STORM (6) is on the radar off a good showing for a 1.6m second two back at Melton. VILLAGE VOICE (2) was rewarded for her recent consistency with a last-start win by 2.6 metres at Ararat. Draws for another good showing. SUGGESTED PLAY: |

INTERPATH GLOBAL TROT 2200m
KAMARAN (9) worked to find the lead and kept kicking to score last time out at this circuit and distance, giving him three wins and a placing from his last four starts. Drawn to enjoy a cosy run and if he gets the gaps he can take care of this line-up. BUSLIN BRODY (5) led from a similar draw last start and kept going to score in a nice return to form at Bendigo, getting home by 6.5 metres. He can make an impact again. BAR TAB (12) has finished fourth despite breaking in both outings since a Melton win. Has trialled since the latest outing. Has winning claims with manners. ARTIGAS (6) hasn't raced since in breaking in a Victoria Derby heat six months ago but was readied with a trial win and won the only time he attempted this distance. Can open this campaign with a positive effort. SUGGESTED PLAY: |

PLOVER SECURITY SERVICES TROT 1710m
CHAMPAGNES (7) kept her manners in check and did a good job for third last start at Charlton. May need a bit of luck negotiating a very wide starting position but won the last time she attempted this sort of grade last month at Maryborough. CHRISTMAS BABE (8) has been solid since winning last month at Bendigo. Draws on the back row so may not get the chance to use her early speed but she has won all three attempts at this circuit and distance. SONNYBOY (9) draws on the second line but has been producing some good efforts including a respectable second at his most recent appearance at Melton and win three back at Bendigo. TENSION SEEKER (1) has been coming from wider or second row barriers of late so can improve from the ace draw. SUGGESTED PLAY: |

FLYING HORSE ENTERTAINMENT VENUE MARES PACE 1710m
BLISSFULL LILLY (3) is working towards a win having finished 7m away when fourth two back before a third last start at Cranbourne. Aided by a good draw so expect her to pose a serious challenge. DOT BALL (6) is heading the right way, improving last time out to finish second at Shepparton. Genuine threat if things go her way from a wide draw. EL AWOMAN (2) backs up after beating only one home at Ararat on Monday but she is better placed against her own sex. Recorded back-to-back seconds prior and should enjoy an economical run from this draw. QUICK DECISION (5) is also in the mix. SUGGESTED PLAY: |

CONGRATULATIONS KATRINA FITZPATRICK TROT 2200m
KARBINE (2) has been a model of consistency of late and deserved his success last start, coming from a wider barrier to score by 3 metres at this circuit and distance. Should enjoy an economical run from this draw so may strike again. ROMANTIC NINA (3) made it three placings on the trot when runner-up to Karbine here last week. Aided by a better draw so could turn the tables. WATTS UP THE HILL (5) is a lightly-raced gelding resuming after seven months. Has won two of three tries at this distance and has been readied by placing in three trials. THE SKY IS THE LIMIT (8) has been down the track in the last two outings outings but drew deep and worked last time. Recorded a series of top-three finishes prior so worth another chance. ISUZU UTE BALLARAT TROT 2200m
FREMARKS PEGGY (2) is racing well with three placings in succession, the latest effort a second at Bendigo when off the back row. Likely to get the favours from this nice draw so can break through. ALLWATFUNJINGLES (1) came from wider when midfield last week at Melton. Recorded a series of placings prior and is likely to get the favours from the ace draw. WHATS THE TEA (7) continued a string of sound recent performances when second at Cranbourne last time. Draws wide but the recent consistency is hard to knock. AI SEDHAI (3) drew deeper and raced wide last time but won from this barrier three back. SUGGESTED PLAY: |

THE GREEN HORSE EQUINE & PET LAUNDRY TROT 2200m
ONAWINGANDAPRAYER (6) has changed yards since she raced parked but boxed on in finishing third in a higher-graded race at her latest appearance at Globe Derby. That was more than six weeks ago but she was kept up to the mark with a trial. NEDZA THRILLER (3) is a long-time maiden but could be close to breaking through after back-to-back placings, last time coming from this draw for second at Ararat. ALDEBARAN MAVERICK (7) missed the start last time but was runner-up last month at Bendigo so is on the radar. MISS AVENGER (5) is the best of the rest after finishing fifth at Melton last time out.
