MANI SCENE (11) started at $8.40 last time and ran below expectations, finishing seventh and beaten 7 lengths at this track over 1400m. Hard to beat in this suitable race. CRAFT KING (6) finished fifth last time out over 1400m at this track, beaten 8 lengths. Worth plenty of thought. |

ZENDAN TOMONI (7) did a great job to score by 2.5 lengths over this course and distance last start in a much improved run. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. AILES LA VICTOIRE (12) is a 10-start maiden who went close to shedding the tag last time when second over 1400m at this track. Yuki Furuoka has registered three minor placings when on board. Bold showing expected. LILA SKY (11) finished tenth when resuming two runs back then did a good job last start but found one better over 1400m at Urawa, beaten only one length after being in the firing line on the corner. Well placed and there is no reason she cannot find winning ways. KIDSTON (4) hasn't made an impression since resuming despite market confidence. Last start could only manage sixth over 1400m at this track. Expecting improvement. |

DATEOTOKO (9) is yet to break through after five career starts. Managed to fill a minor placing at Kyoto Dirt two starts back before finishing sixth over 1900m at Kyoto Dirt last start. Finds a nice race and gets the chance to break through. JUVEL (7) defied a lack of market support last start, scoring by a neck over 1400m at Urawa. Strong chance again today. LOMBARDO CITY (8) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1700m at Kokura Dirt, beaten 7 lengths into fifth. Has the ability to produce a better result. RAJASTHAN ROYAL (3) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1500m at Funabashi, beaten 8 lengths into sixth. Best efforts measure up so worth another chance. |

SAYONO MAX LOVE (8) showed good early pace over 1500m at this track last time and kept going to score by 8 lengths. In a suitable race and can build on that solid recent effort. ROKUNO RAINBOW (10) was rewarded with his maiden success last start, scoring by half a length over 1400m at Urawa. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Jumps from a wide draw but he is definitely worth including. ALL IN ALICE (5) is yet to break through in nine runs. Finished fourth at her last appearance over 1200m at Funabashi on April 3 after she gave away a big start. Solid top-three chance on her best figures. FRENCH BLOSSOM (2) is back from a spell of three months. Closed last prep with a tenth, beaten 10 lengths, over 1200m at Nakayama Dirt. One of the better chances. |

GAURA THUNDER (8) built on a nice second two starts back at Nagoya with a win as public elect over 1400m at this track two months ago, getting home by 2.5 lengths. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot score again. TAVANESTAN (3) went forward last start over 1400m at this track and held on well for third, beaten 1.75 lengths. Will be up on the speed from the low draw. Stepping up a level this time but on his best form he is good enough to take this out. YUKI HYAKUBAI (6) is back at the races for the first time since December 17. Worth noting he filled a minor placing when returning from a spell last time in work over 1400m at this track. Looks a strong top-three prospect. T O D'AMOUR (5) was beaten 6 lengths into seventh in a 2000m contest at Urawa last time out. Likely improver with strong top-three prospects. |

Has been in sound form this prep with a win and three minor placings from seven outings. Expected to be competitive. Has a good association with Niihara Shuma with a run of four top-three results. Among the leading chances. DEFINITIVO (6) finished third last time over 2000m at this track when resuming from a spell, beaten 3.5 lengths. Placed to advantage so expect a forward showing. VIV AIR (7) showed early speed from a good draw last time and led throughout to score by half a length over 2000m at this track. In the mix. |

ORIGINAL PATTERN (8) went forward and proved too strong last time out, scoring by one length over 1500m at Urawa. It doesn't get any easier but on his best form he is capable of testing his rivals. GROOVIN (1) won first up then could only manage to finish fourth last start over 1200m at Funabashi. May appreciate this longer journey. Likely to push forward and race on the pace. Can feature in the finish. |

Has a great record at this journey with two wins from five starts and is a key runner. MARU MORI ACTIVE (9) improved sharply on her fifth two starts back at this track with a win as favourite over 1400m at Urawa three weeks ago, getting home by 3 lengths after being in the firing line on the turn. Meets some better types this time but another big run will not surprise. LAULEA (4) knuckled down strongly to get within a neck of the winner in second last start over 1800m at Funabashi. Backmarker who keeps coming. Should be competitive. KANETOSHI SHUKIN (2) ran a better race last start to finish a close second over 1500m at Urawa after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Nicely placed to maintain the form. |
