TEAM AIDAN MOTHER'S DAY MARKETS 10 MAY 2026 MAIDEN PLATE 1005m
Plenty of first starters engaged which makes it tricky to map, but we can assume a keen tempo. KISSAVOS (5) good fresh gelding who returned with a slick on-pace second over 1000m at Port Macquarie. Expected to get off the mark here in a competitive contest. CERANO MAGIC (3) savaged the line on debut with a narrow third over 1000m at Port Macquarie. Will find this more to his liking and shapes as the main danger. COMME CI COMME CA (1) second run for the new yard when resumed with a gritty on-pace second over 1008m at Port Macquarie. Finally drawn a decent gate and looks the value play in the race. SPECTORIOUS (9) three-year-old gelding by Red Henno from Hussey an Dheas on debut for the Jake Hull yard. Impressed in his last two trials and worth thought. SUGGESTED PLAY: Box Quinella 5,3,1,9. |

ONLINE TICKETS @ GRAFTONTICKETS.COM.AU MAIDEN PLATE 1708m
Without much in the way of early speed it might be left to Stainless Steel to take charge. ELEGANT FORCE (10) racing well at this distance range and should prove too good for these deep into the campaign. Went back early before surging late with an excellent third over 1800m at the Gold Coast. No excuses today. RIGHTEOUS BROTHER (3) has his hoof on the till after jumping in trip with a narrow third over 1720m at this track. On the quick back-up and stays in the calculations. FRICTIONAL FORCE (5) much better performance second-up when he rattled late to secure fifth over 1720m at this track. Can race closer today and play a leading role. SOME GIRLS (8) far from disgraced when she chipped away late for a close-up the sixth over this track and trip. Well drawn for this and has genuine top-four claims. SUGGESTED PLAY: Elegant Force finds his race. |

BOOK A JULY HOSPITALITY PACKAGE COUNTRY BOOSTED MAIDEN HANDICAP 1180m
Just a moderate tempo headed by Archie Maximus, Amazigh Torque and Shamolatte. ARCHIE MAXIMUS (2) handy gelding who gets his chance today third-up from the good gate. Covered ground in a stronger contest with a respectable third over 1200m at the Gold Coast. No excuses here. WILD MONARCH (6) closed strongly on debut with a tidy third over 1000m at this track in a tougher race. Awkward map today and look for him closing well. Each way. AMAZIGH TORQUE (4) safely held on debut with a plugging third over 1100m at this track in a tougher race. Well drawn and will keep improving as she gets out in trip. Place best. SOOFREE (10) returns after eight months in the paddock. Never comfortable in the heavy (8) going with a dismal eighth over 1200m at Port Macquarie last August. Back without a trial and no surprise to see her finish in the minor placings. SUGGESTED PLAY: Archie Maximus ticks plenty of boxes from the good gate. |

KENSEI CLUB COMMUNITY RACE DAY 5 JULY CLASS 1 HANDICAP 1005m
Plenty of pressure from Alleze, Highland Force and Deebee's Girl battling for the lead over Kemal. ALLEZE (2) talented colt resuming. Gave them a galloping lesson on debut when he led throughout as favourite over 1010m at Murwillumbah last October. Primed for this with the two trials and expected to remain unbeaten from the good gate. HIGHLAND FORCE (4) ploughed through the heavy (10) going on debut with a slick victory over 800m at Coffs Harbour. Kept fresh for this and expected to go close. DEEBEE'S GIRL (7) consistent mare resuming. Showed a stack of improvement last time in and can go on with it this prep. Jumped in trip with a courageous on-pace second over 1250m at Kempsey. Has found a suitable race to kick off from the good gate. Respect. HOMELAND (11) raced flat second-up from the poor gate with a battling seventh at Port Macquarie over 1208m. Fitter now and can race closer from the inside gate. SUGGESTED PLAY: Alleze can remain undefeated first-up. |

GRAFTON TOYOTA SOUTH GRAFTON CUP DAY 12 JULY CLASS 1 & MAIDEN PLATE 2217m
O'caldino and Redadel will press forward in a keen battle for the lead. O'CALDINO (4) finds an easier assignment today on the back-up after he stuck on well to run fourth over 1800m at the Sunshine Coast. Winkers go on and ready to peak fifth-up. SONDER (8) not far away here three-back with a narrow second over this trip. Holding his form and gets his chance in this weaker contest. ALASKA DE LUNE (10) three weeks between runs when up in trip for a battling fourth over 2450m at Beaudesert in BM60 class. Maps well and expected to take a hand in the finish. MONTEVECCHIO (2) win record hardly excites but proven at the trip. Thrown in the deep end with a disappointing twelfth over 2030m at Doomben in C2 grade. Best efforts measure up and can return to form in this company. SUGGESTED PLAY: Box Quinella 4,8,10,2. |

GDSC RAMORNIE HANDICAP DAY 15 JULY CLASS 2 BENCHMARK 62 HANDICAP 1408m
Genuine tempo from Fall For Autumn leading Patrioticintention. PATRIOTICINTENTION (6) starting to hit his straps and looks up to this class with Palmer's 3kg claim. Took control early and never headed with a dominant display saluting by 1.75 lens over 1200m at Port Macquarie. Finds a suitable race and can build on that winning record. PRINCE OF PROPHETS (1) rewarded for his consistency with a comprehensive 6 len victory over 1412m at Coffs Harbour in the heavy (8) going. Heading in the right direction and winning apprentice retains the ride. JUKEBOX IN SIBERIA (5) finds the right race today after mixing her form at the last three starts. Slow into stride and gave away too much start with a plugging sixth over 1350m at Doomben in C3 class. Value prospect. FALL FOR AUTUMN (8) deep into the campaign and due for a change of luck. Appreciated the firmer surface when he gripped on to run second over 1200m at Port Macquarie. Ready to go one better despite drawing out. SUGGESTED PLAY: Box Quinella 6,1,5,8. |

WESTLAWN FINANCE GRAFTON CUP DAY 16 JULY COUNTRY BOOSTED BENCHMARK 58 HANDICAP 1608m
A race that lacks early pressure on paper. LADY ALABAMA (2) huge jump in class in the heavy (10) conditions with a battling fourth over 1590m at Ballina in BM82 grade. Assess on her narrow second here two-back, and well weighted with the 3kg claim. AUTUMN MISS (6) has needed the three runs this time in to bring her to her peak. Blinkers go on and no surprise to see her a little closer to the tempo. Finds a suitable race with the senior rider going aboard. BONFIDELITY (7) had been racing in career best form before she finished a distant last over 1900m at Armidale in BM66 class. Complete mystery last start and deserves another chance in this weaker grade. ALABAMA GIRL (8) has produced the two wins this campaign and goes okay on her home track. Strong through the line when second over 2000m at the Gold Coast Poly. Maps well on the quick back-up. SUGGESTED PLAY: Box Quinella 2,6,7,8. |

MACLEAN BOWLING CLUB MACLEAN CUP DAY 19 JULY BENCHMARK 82 HANDICAP 1005m
Expecting The Wolf to find the lead but there will be plenty of pressure over the sprint trip. VEECEE (8) massive drop in class when he scored a long overdue victory over this trip at Taree as fav. Confidence is high but must overcome the wide draw. Respect. PIXIE HALLOW (5) was a month between runs when he faded badly in the straight to run seventh over 1000m at Taree. Won over this track and trip two-back and strips fitter with the sharp drop in weight with Gorton's 3kg claim. Among the top chances. BJORN IRONSIDE (9) fitter now third-up and will appreciate the weight relief after he closed strongly to run third over 1100m at Port Macquarie. Warrants serious consideration. DECISIVE LASS (3) warmed up late from back in the field with an eye-catching fourth over 1100m at Ipswich in C4 grade. Goes well at the trip and stays in the mix. SUGGESTED PLAY: Box Quinella 8,5,9,3. |
