WELCOME TO NELSON MANDELA BAY WORK RIDERS MAIDEN PLATE 1200m
MONEY GALORE (12) was reported to be not striding out in her last start over this course and distance. Her first three career outings were fair. She gets the services of capable work rider Xola Jacobs and may be the horse to side with. AMERICAN MATADOR (1) has fair consistent form lines to his name. It must be noted that the horse that finished second in his last outing has come out and won since. He gets the blinkers re-fitted and is one of the leading contenders. AWAY WITH RED (2) raced from just off the pace over this course and distance last time but found one too good on the day. It must be noted that the horse that finished third that day has come out and won since. Each-way claims. BOMBER STREAM (3) returns from a 12-week spell and is having his first run for Lunga Gila. On best form shown, he should be figuring in the finish. |

RACING TODAY PINNACLE STAKES 1200m
DIRECT HIT (1) returns from a 16-week break which would have done her the world of good. Finished off last preparation when winning at Scottsville in the G1 Allan Robertson Championship May 31 over 1200m when sent out as the hot favourite. She is the class horse and should keep her unbeaten record intact. MONTELENA (4) was doing her best work late over 1400m on the polytrack last time when finishing third of eight over 1400m at Fairview. SWEETIE DARLING (3) is better than her last start over 1400m on the polytrack. The daughter of Royal Mo is unbeaten from two starts over this course and distance and merits healthy respect. ELLORIX (2) bounced back to winning form last start and scored a game win over 1000m at Fairview All Weather. Has each-way claims. |

TAB TELEBET 0861 000 822 FM 66 HANDICAP 1200m
BENEATH THE MOON (14) is better than her last start run over 1400m on the polytrack would suggest. She finished fourth in her previous two efforts over this distance. Can notch up her third-career victory. JAPANESE GARDEN (1) won a good race when shedding her maiden tag over this distance on the Turffontein Inside course. It must be noted that the horse that finished second that day has come out and won since. She is having her first run for Cliffie Miller and if settled into her new surroundings, she should go close. ICE CAP (10) has consistent form lines to her name. She has won once and finished third once from as many starts over this course and distance. She should run another honest race. KILMONIVAIG (12) was running on well when third over this distance on the polytrack last time. She is the stable elect with Chase Maujean in the saddle and she cannot be discounted. |

SPORTS FAN (7) is lightly raced with good form lines to her credit. She followed up her maiden victory with a good second-place finish over 1200m at Kenilworth. It must be noted that the horse that finished third that day has come out and won since. She is having her first run for Alan Greeff. She has ability and if fit, she should be the horse to beat. FIERY COUNTESS (1) won a good race over 1200m on the polytrack last time. She gets the services of the 4kg claiming apprentice Bavish Soodoo which should assist her cause. SMASHING (2) has good form lines to her credit. She has won twice, finished second once and third three times from seven starts on this course. She merits healthy respect. PLAY SOCCER 6, 10 AND 13 CLASSIFIED STAKES 1600m
FLASH LIGHTNING (8) was running on well when third over 1400m on the turf last time. He is likely to be settled near the rear of the field from his awkward draw of eight and will be mowing down the frontrunners. BACK FOR MORE (2) fought hard over 2000m on the polytrack last time. The drop to 1600m should not pose a concern as she has won over the distance previously. Has each-way clams. BEER WITH THE BOYS (7) was running on when second over this course and distance last time. He is in a good space and from pole position, he should be involved at the finish. STRANGE MAGIC (4) steps up in trip after she was well held last time in sixth over 1200m at this track. Should park just off the speed and had top-three claims. |

#YOUCANBETONUS! MAIDEN PLATE 2000m
OUTBACK EXPRESS (8) has finished second in his last two starts over 1900m on the polytrack. He crossed the finishing line in front last time, but was relegated after causing interference. If Chase Maujean is able to keep him on a straight line, he can shed his maiden tag. BOMBER BAY (1) should have finished closer to the winner last time. Craig Zackey steps back into the saddle, and he should be competitive. SEMPRE BELLA (4) set the pace over 1900m last time and stayed on well to finish third. He finished second in his only attempt over this distance. He is the stable elect with Muzi Yeni in the saddle and he can go close. JANNEMAN WAT KAN (9) is a four-start maiden who finished 11th at his most recent appearance over 1400m at Kenilworth. Suited in this line up and has place prospects. |

FRIENDLY CITY STAKES 1800m
MY BEST SHOT (3) showed signs of needing his seasonal debut last time. He would have come on from the outing and should strip much fitter. Seven of his ten career victories have come on this course. He is likely to be switched off near the rear of the field and will be running on. ROYAL AUSSIE (1) ran a good race when second in the Listed Memorial Mile last time. Muzi Yeni retains the ride and with luck in the running, he should be competitive. FIREALLEY (5) kept finding to win his last start over 1900m on the polytrack. He has won once and finished third three times from seven starts over this distance. He jumps from pole position and merits consideration. GOLDEN PEACE (6) is better than his last start run over 1900m on the polytrack would suggest. He won over this course and distance under S'manga Khumalo three runs ago. He would not be a shock winner. |
