NUM TIME COMMENT
1 12:42 WDC COMING TO WINTON IN NOVEMBER TROT 2400m
MAJESTIC CHALLEN (7) is racing well and looks close to a win after a series of close-up efforts, last time finishing runner-up at Ascot Park. Long-time maiden but deserves a win and this could be her chance to break through. SONNY JIM (1) made an encouraging return when third at this circuit and wasn't too far of the placegetters since. Will be nearing peak fitness and this looks a winnable assignment. MY BONNIE LASS (4) has made mistakes in all three starts but looks to have the ability if the penny drops. GARONNE (6) made good progress in the last-start fourth and should be fitter again third-up.  SUGGESTED PLAY:
2 01:07 WOODLANDS STUD FILLIES & MARES MOBILE PACE 1609m
ADA R J (1) looks close to a win after back-to-back seconds, the latest from this barrier at Ascot Park. He'll be nearing peak fitness and should enjoy the favours from the inside draw so gets his chance to break through. ASIAN JOKER (3) has been out of the money at his last two outings but came from wider barriers than this each time. Better served by this draw so could show her best. CRACKASKY (7) has been racing consistently with a string of top-four finishes, last time clocking in third at Ascot Park when off a similar barrier to this. Contender. BALTIC STAR (5) showed good improvement to place in the latest outing and should be fitter again third-up.  SUGGESTED PLAY:
3 01:42 FULLY CATERED HOSPITALITY WDC 25 MOBILE PACE 2400m
RAKAMICK (5) is building nicely into his preparation and looks close to a win having come from tricky barriers to place in his last two outings. Race fit now so this could be his chance to deliver. SOUTH BEACH (1) resumes after six months having shown some ability in a short maiden campaign. Likely to have developed further with maturity and is aided by the inside draw so expecting a strong return. ROCKY PACIFIC (4) showed good improvement at start number three, coming from a wide barrier for a close second. The penny could be about to drop. THE BRICKLAYER (6) is a three-year-old gelding by Art Major on debut. Worth keeping safe.  SUGGESTED PLAY:
4 02:10 MACCA LODGE FILLIES & MARES MOBILE PACE 1609m
CHICAGO SKY (9) continued her consistent form from last campaign when she resumed with a close second at Addington. Draws on the back row but will strip fitter and looks nicely placed if she can find the gaps. SANDY SHORE (1) hasn't raced since November when tackling stronger company at Addington but has shown ability in the past and the inside draw gives her every chance for a strong return. DRAGONESS (2) came from a similar barrier to this to win her maiden when resuming at this circuit and distance before a solid fourth from wider last start. Has some upside. PARTY UP DENARIO (7) draws deep but deserves respect off the maiden win last start.  SUGGESTED PLAY:
5 02:42 DIAMOND CREEK FARM/S.B.S.R. MOBILE PACE 2400m
MONTAGE (9) has the hoof on the till after placing in her last two outings, last week coming from wider on this row to go under narrowly. Big chance to go one better. ARTMORE (8) draws wide but is in good form having finished top-four from back row draws in her last three appearances. There was plenty of merit in the latest effort of SUPERFAST (1) when she came from much wider and finished close-up at Ascot Park. The inside draw gives her every chance to return to the winners' list. ROBYNS ART (11) is building in fitness and has claims off a Rangiora placing two back.  SUGGESTED PLAY:
6 03:09 ALABAR NZ MOBILE PACE 2400m
SONG SUNG BLUE (8) hasn't been beaten too far away in any of her four starts at Addington since a spell. Those outings will have brought her to peak fitness and while she'll have to overcome a wide barrier she looks nicely placed. FOXING EASTON (2) is racing well well having placed in four of his last five outings. Came from this draw when runner-up at Young Quinn Raceway two back. Can be right in the action again. ROCK BAND (6) hasn't raced since April but has won two of three fresh attempts and scored in her lone attempt at this distance. EVANGALIST (5) resumes after six months but goes well fresh with two wins and two placings from six attempts. Has won three of four attempts at this distance so looking for a strong return.  SUGGESTED PLAY:
7 03:33 SUBWAY WINTON HANDICAP TROT 2400m
LIL WHIP (8) kept her manners in check and finished close-up when placed last time out. Gives away 30m at the handicap but is a two-time winner at this circuit and distance. Can strike. JULIE JACCKA (10) has taken on stronger company in two outings since a spell. Will be fitter for those and and looks nicely placed to show her best. MADRIK (9) is returning after two-and-a-half years on the sidelines. That's never an easy task but he strikes at 50 per cent when fresh and has won here before. ANDY HALL (7) is heading the right way, improving last time out to finish third from a similar handicap. Gets his chance to deliver.  SUGGESTED PLAY:
8 03:58 FORKLIFTS NZ MOBILE PACE 2400m
SEASIDE POND (5) resumes after closing his last campaign with a fifth at Addington in April. His best results have come at this distance and he has performed well when fresh previously so could make a winning return. BELUGA (9) resumes from a spell of four-and-a-half months having scored at his last appearance at this circuit and distance. Lightly-raced with some upside and could go through his grades this time in. TUNEINSPORTSFANS (10) is building in fitness and should be close to his peak after placing in his last three outings, two of them from this row. DRAGON POWER (3) overcame a a second line draw in winning last start so must be respected from this more favourable barrier.  SUGGESTED PLAY:
9 04:23 BOOK A MARQUEE FOR WDC 25 MOBILE PACE 2400m
GOORAMBAT ART (9) was far from disgraced when midfield in stronger company at Addington last week and will find this grade more to his liking. Had put together a string of top-three finishes prior including a win at this circuit. Strong claims. ALWAYS BE BATMAN (12) is back from a let-up and has some sound form including a placing at this venue two starts back. Draws on the back row but is good enough to play a role with even luck. TEN DA TOUCH (11) is another that may need a touch of luck from his draw on the second line but is very hard to knock off a string of top-two finishes including wins in his last two outings. STILLYOURSHOT (7) has been racing well and must be respected off a second from the back row at his latest appearance at Ascot Park.  SUGGESTED PLAY:
