Not seeing a great deal of early speed on the map. PATRIOT RUN (6) last appeared five weeks ago over 2400m at Nakayama Dirt when he finished 16th. This is his first run for the Joji Tanaka stable. Could prove tough to beat for the new barn. TRUE BAROWS (11) was never in contention last start when ninth over 1200m at Funabashi. Has the class to figure prominently in this easier assignment. HIROSHIGE ATOMU (5) has been thereabouts without winning, the most recent effort a third at this track over 1400m when he was beaten 2.5 lengths. One of the leading contenders again. DANON CHAOS (1) was fourth over 1400m at this track two weeks ago. Better than recent efforts suggest and worth including.
