Fast tempo assured with Ichigohitofuri, Cheek Rouge and Eifer Raccoon going at each other early in the piece. KITANO DALOMA (12) made steady ground over 1500m at this track to finish midfield last time out. Fair record at this trip with a win and one place at the journey and expected to improve sharply. BIG BOSS MASAMUNE (11) did a great job to score by 2.5 lengths over today's course and distance last start in a much-improved run. Finds another suitable race and can do it again. ICHIGOHITOFURI (9) scored at this track last time out with half a length in reserve at the end of 1500m. Makoto Okabe who has scored on him five times retains the mount and can measure up again. CHEEK ROUGE (5) was far from disgraced when fourth last start after a win at this track the start prior. Worth plenty of thought.
