Two runs back have been strong, placing in both, the latest when beaten 0.6 lengths at Pakenham behind an in-form horse in Grid Girl. Ready to peak now and the slight rise to 1500m looks ideal. FULLPROOF (4) is a handy type who was perhaps unsuited by the heavy going on resumption at Geelong behind Riproar. He showed good talent last time in and will take beating if Currie gives him a good ride from the draw. IMPENDING SHADOW (14) is racing consistently and should be fighting out the finish again.
