Strong pace from Beautrooper and Albanian Bay matching motors with Wunambal close at hand. ARIZONA ACTIVIST (4) won fresh up last prep and then just battled in his next couple of starts when his mind was on other things. He resumes as a gelding at an easier level here and with the advantage of pole position, he is the one to beat. ANTICKS (6) flipped her form on its head last start when winning second-up by a head at Mornington just over 3 weeks ago. That win was not unexpected as she was well-found in the market that day and with a superior gate this time, she can take the next step immediately. KIMBERLEY PEARL (3) only bottled fresh up at Sandown-Lakeside when resuming and will be better for that hit-out. She has the blinkers back on and slides down a grade second-up. Stick with her as she can take this out. EXPLOSIVE THINKER (1) has raced his way into full fitness and his form is progressing nicely with a recent second placing to his credit at Geelong 11 days ago. He is down in class and will be among the hardest to beat in an even contest. SUGGESTED PLAY: Kimberley Pearl each-way.
