The speedy trio Glass No Blues, Ka Pilina and Colorful Melody can set the pace from the outset. ESTRELLA DE BELEN (15) is back from a spell of ten weeks. Closed last prep with a fifth, beaten 5.5 lengths, over 1600m at this track. Will be hard to beat. KA PILINA (6) has not appeared since she scored over 1400m at this track on February 3. Ready to run well. KING VIRGIL (1) impressed when successful as favourite on debut over 1400m at Kyoto Dirt nine weeks ago and has not raced since. Sure to make his presence felt again. GLASS NO BLUES (8) had a bit on his rivals last time out, scoring an impressive 4 lengths maiden win over 1200m at Nakayama Dirt. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Tougher assignment this time but is one of the main contenders.
