Plenty of early pace to be established by Continuation, Golden Passport and High Done, with Larsen Bay close at hand. PARIAH PEARL (9) built strongly to a well-deserved win at Echuca last time out and won in style that day by over 4 lengths, leading all of the way. As so often happens once the penny drops, she can go right on with the job. On top. GERALDINE'S JEWEL (3) is usually very competitive at this level and her last couple of starts have been in a tougher grade, producing a solid second placing in her penultimate run. A 3-kilo claim will help her and she has sound each-way claims in this. GOLDEN PASSPORT (1) did not kick on as expected off the front at Newcastle last time out and battled home, finishing near the rear of the field. He steps up to a more suitable trip second up and with the blinkers back on, he can improve quickly. Each-way value. MAGADAN (5) ran his best race for some time when finishing third last start. He will find this a touch easier and has sound first four claims again. SUGGESTED PLAY: Pariah Pearl to win.
